Carol is an artist that resides in the Indianapolis area and currently shows in local galleries among them is the Mavris Arts & Events Center  in Indianapolis. 

This magical facility hosts corporate and social events where Carol is the exclusive artist showing at this location. Her artwork provides a unique perspective into the world of abstract painting.

In addition to her journey into the world of abstract painting, Carol’s spiritual roots are captured in her Byzantine icon paintings.

About My Work:
Carol has painted Byzantine icons for thirty years and has had solo shows at the Indianapolis Art League, IUPUI Culture Gallery, and the Christian Theological Seminary and participated in other shows throughout the United States. She currently paints heavily textured abstracts laying paint, mediums, and metallic leafs. She hopes to express a spiritual emotion in her work.

“Spirituality has become a major part of my life. The spiritual world is all around us. Since September 11th and the current world situation, many people are in need of a spiritual connection. Angels have appeared in my work. At first, not consciously, but as people could see them in my abstracts, I started looking for them too. These paintings are a part of my spiritual journey.
